Are you living for today? – 2 Corinthians 4:18

by Jim Jamison

Sin has caused a major struggle in our lives. People today attempt to lie for now and not the promise to come. 2 Corinthians 4:18 reminds us that, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” In other words, the things we think we have to have or do TODAY(!), are the very things that we cast away or regret tomorrow. The reality is that the only way to find that happiness and contentment is through a redemptive relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We can not fully appreciate what God has given to us, without a relationship with the God of that creation. May He open your eyes and heart to the reality of His splendor and majesty.… READ MORE
