The single most significant decision I can make on a day to day basis is my choice of attitude! It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, My attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream to extreme, no challenge too great for me to tackle. Proverbs 23:7 reminds us that “as [a person] thinks in his heart, so is he.” We must admit that we spend more of our time concentrating and fretting over the things that can not be changed – than we do giving attention to the one that Can give us victory over any circumstance. As we approach Thanksgiving this year, why not make a choice to glorify God in all that you say, and do. Life is full of choices, and you are the one that controls the choices of the heart. Trust in the Word of God, and find your peace with the Lord in the midst of life’s events.
