Mothers influence their children in so many ways. One of life’s greatest blessings is to have a godly mother, and one of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to BE a godly mother. Sadly, the influence of our current culture has caused the status of motherhood to decline. Women are encouraged to find fulfillment outside of the home. In 2 Timothy 1:5 we learn that Timothy’s faith came to him through his grandmother, Lois, and his mother, Eunice. Through faith in God and by honoring His Word, we are reminded that godly mothers have great influence as they train their children. Remember that our world is impacted each generation by the children we are raising today!
