The feast Pentecost occurs 50 days after Passover, and was to picture that while at Passover the people of Israel were freed from their enslavement to Egyptian bondage, on Pentecost the people of Israel were celebrating the coming of the Torah, and when they officially became a nation committed to serving God. In Acts 2, while the nation was celebrating this feast, the Spirit of God was sent by Jesus to the body, to bring them into a new relationship with Him. This Sunday we are going to explore this new ministry, and attempt to understand the purpose of this event in the life and history of the church and individual believers. Join us this Sunday, November 5th, at 10:30 am as we examine this critical topic.
