As we consider the convicting work of he Holy Spirit there ae only two possible responses to that ministry: Repentance or rejection. From those who reject the Spirit’s conviction will come hostility to the followers of Christ. Their end is eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, according to 2 Thessalonians 1:9. Those who repent when the Sprit convicts them will spend eternity in the inexpressible glory and joy of heaven. Yet while they still face trials, they do not need to fear, because according to 1 John 4:4 “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” True peace within ourselves, comes through the witness of the indwelling Holy Spirit that we are right with God. Today, will you submit your will to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and find that peace that passes all understanding?
